Lumber Buddy™ - More Than 2 Decades Serving the Lumber Industry
We started our LEAN Journey on January 1, 2000, when we introduced the Lumber Buddy™ Portable Workstation, a Better, Safer, More Efficient way of constructing units of building materials. Since that day we have visited over 1,900 lumberyards and Distribution Centers across the US and Canada.
In September of 2015, we expanded our vision to offer productivity products from like-minded partners to our customers in the Lumber Industry. Focusing on increased Safety and Productivity through LEAN optimization, we strive to share our passion by helping others build profits through safety, efficiency, and engagement.
A Standardized training process is a critical component of any successful venture. Our training approach is simple. Using clearly defined processes that focus on beginning with the end in mind, we also believe in leveraging technology to make sure that our training is repeatable and reliable in producing results.
Our Training works to improve sales, productivity, organization, company culture, and employee satisfaction by helping you build a lean culture in your company.

We have a focused approach to building long-term results that last. We work with your team on the ground to provide the products and processes to help you fight increasing pricing pressure. LEAN is an excellent way to maintain margins by decreasing costs through the elimination of waste. Doing more with less is what LEAN is all about.
Whether you're seeking a new business strategy or products and tools to create a safe, efficient, and engaging work environment, we are here to help! We look forward to discussing how our products and services can assist you in your LEAN Journey.
In addition to some design changes, we are also focusing on more training and support materials to help our customers Work Safe and Work Smart...
We have learned that it is not enough just to build a great tool but we need to develop these features to teach customers how to optimize those products and information for peak performance. Lean Thinking, Lean Tools, and Lean Training will be part of our mission moving forward.
Our past calendar and downloadable info is part of our Lean Into Safety initiative to help educate customers on the benefits of LEAN process improvement. We are offering some online resources including a Lean Into Safety blog and posters. We have also been conducting regional Lean into Safety programs that started with the Ideas Show in King of Prussia, PA on March, 1st 2017.
We look forward to working with you and your team to build a safer, smarter industry. Your ideas are welcomed on how we can serve you better.
With your business in mind,
Jeff Tweten
